Please find below my feedback about the treatments my daughter received in October 2019.
Following the electroencephalogram (EEG) of November 13, 2019, there was a clear improvement.
Indeed, EEGs in 2018 showed high epileptic activity (without epileptic seizures) when she was awake and asleep (epileptic activity without epileptic seizures was even increased during sleep).
On November 13, the EEG could only be carried out in the awakened state, because this time my daughter did not manage to fall asleep (she was afraid of having nightmares); the results of this EEG showed an absence of epileptic discharges when she was awake, which was a real improvement. As a result, the pediatrician told us that our daughter did not need medication and it was a great relief for us. The next EGG should take place in about a year.
Unfortunately, our daughter had an epileptic seizure again (in the form of absence) on January 18, 2020, when she had the flu. She also had a short absence of about 20 seconds yesterday, January 28, in school.

I came to see you for epilepsy, disabling chronic fatigue and asthma….
After the first treatment, I have already seen a great improvement in my fatigue… I could again put a lot of routines in motion in my daily life and stick to them… Something that was impossible for more than 2 months! Asthma has also improved. As for epilepsy, I cannot comment on it because I will simply need to observe during 3 months to be able to tell you about it…
After this first treatment, my loved ones saw the difference regarding fatigue but what they were especially able to see…. I had not even told you about it, it was the disappearance of the very significant side effects of Zonegran (an anti-epileptic)… the side effects were such that I had asked my doctor if I should consider taking an anti-depressant or other to continue my treatment or else I would conside stopping my treatment… The Zonegran also caused great irritability at the end of the day… well? That has totally disappeared!
After the second treatment, the disappearance of fatigue and side effects was only reinforced in such a way that my daily life can resume a course that no longer existed since April 2019. On January 28-29 of this year I was hospitalized for 7 tonic-clonic seizures,…. it normally takes several weeks to recover (neurologists count 1 week per crisis) …. Barely 2 weeks later… a normal rhythm could be resumed….
Still no need for cortisone or other for asthma and regarding epilepsy… a total calm…
And I also think that your treatment is working on many other things but very difficult to describe in an email…but which allows one to function again… I look forward to being able to come and consolidate all this soon….

I am writing to you as agreed to give you news of my son L.L. who was treated at the last OpenDays for his epilepsy. His condition is not yet completely stabilized, the situation during the day has improved because he has much fewer “discharges” than before. The nights are still complicated, he still wakes up very often crying or screaming. He still has crises at night but we still notice a decrease in these.

Here is our testimony:
We came to see Mr. Hannes Jacob with our 2-year-old son who suffers from epilepsy. After the 2 meetings the seizures appeared (but it was normal, it happened within 2-3 days after treatment) then the seizures became less strong. Our son is much more relaxed, happier. He sleeps much better at night. In fact, the crisis have changed, they are much less frequent and less severe.
